IcarusPCB was born from a simple frustration: why do embedded engineers have to wait weeks for hardware just to test a few lines of firmware?
From Waiting to Simulating
We started IcarusPCB because we lived the pain. Ordering dev boards, waiting for shipping, wiring up sensors — all before writing a single line of testable code. The hardware-first workflow was killing our iteration speed.
We realized that with virtual hardware simulation and modern AI capable of parsing dense technical datasheets, we could automate what used to take days of manual work: creating accurate virtual models of real hardware.
Today, IcarusPCB works with any MCU, any sensor, any peripheral — if it has a datasheet, we can simulate it. Upload a PDF, and our AI generates a complete simulation script — register maps, peripheral configurations, and all. Like Icarus, we aim high — but we build our wings from datasheets, not wax.
